Personal Statement
I am a Christian athlete, soon to be four-year varsity letterman in football, who absolutely loves the game, completely embraces the grind, and has never missed or been late to a single practice, meeting or scheduled team weight lifting during the season and off-season throughout high school. It is my dream to be a highly focused and serious student first, and to have the opportunity to dedicate myself each day to being a better football player then I was the day before so that I can reach my full potential as a student and as an athlete. I will always represent my team and school with class and dignity on the field, in the classroom and within the community. I have been awarded seven separate Character Counts awards at different times to date at my high school. You can count on me to never have any on or off the field problems and will do whatever I am asked to the best of my ability at all times with a positive attitude.
I am very fortunate to have gained the experience from playing for a historic team that went 13-0 this past year before coming up just short in the State Championship 35-33 to one of the top 15 teams in the United States (with 24 D-I recruits). Our quarterback was named Mr. Football for the State of Florida. My teammates and I on the offensive line worked well together in each of our 14 games to help our quarterback pass for 3,328 yards and 34 touchdowns along with 650 rushing yards generating another 19 touchdowns, in addition to our top running back who rushed for almost 1,300 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns. We played against the some of the best teams in the State of Florida and handled every challenge. I hope that you will see that my experience, attitude, character, dedication and love for the game will make me an asset to any team and I sincerely thank you for giving me your consideration as a football recruit.
