Darius Green '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Darius Green. I am a 2024 DB/ATH from Berkeley Preparatory High School in Tampa, Florida with a 4.0 GPA and 31 ACT (equivalent to a 1400 SAT). I am the starting Defensive Back on my school’s football team.

I aspire to become a student-athlete at an academically strong school‘s football program. I believe coaches want guys that have good character, toughness, academic integrity, and grit on the football field. I possess all of these qualities and I believe I would be a good fit for your program.

I am currently 170 pounds and 5'10. I squat 375 pounds, bench 225, power clean 185 and run a 4.6 - 40yd dash.  My vertical was measured at 47” and my broad jump was 9’11. 

I can also play Reciever as well as Running Back and Kick Returner. I want to continue playing the sport I love at the collegiate level.  Furthermore, once I arrive in college I aspire to work my way up the depth chart in order to not only be on a collegiate team but also contribute to the success of the college football team on the field. As an athlete, I am versatile and can pick up on new play styles and schemes quickly meaning I would be able to easily adapt to the play style of the defense as well as I can be switched or played on either side of the ball. I feel as though these qualities make me a good fit for many programs across the nation.

I am confident with the right weight, conditioning and nutrition program, nothing will prevent me from being a great athlete. I am very dedicated and committed to this sport and I have the necessary drive.
