Personal Statement

I aspire to attend an academically competitive university and earn my undergraduate degree in either business finance or engineering.   I would like to do so at a school with an athletic program that competes at the highest level of college football.  I want to make a difference on that team by leading both on the field, athletically and off the field academically and through community service.   I will bring an undying passion to win both in the classroom and on the field.  Thank you for the opportunity to be considered for your team.

Events

  • Camp/Event
  • FBU Top Gun High School Showcase
  • 7/14/16 to 7/16/16
  • The FBU Top Gun Showcase, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is an annual national showcase highlighting the nation's elite prep student-athletes. Top Gun is the only national camp that can state it is the biggest and best gathering of student-athletes and NFL-level coaches in one place, with more than 700 student-athletes at each of the high school and middle school showcase events. Top Gun will feature approximately 60 members of the FBU coaching staff, combining more than 50 years of NFL coaching and playing experience. Each year at the Top Gun High School Showcase, underclassmen are invited to the All-American Scouting Combine at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
  • Camp/Event
  • Football University
  • 4/22/16 to 4/24/16
  • Had the opportunity improve my linebacker skills with Coach Quentin Coryatt. Football University is built on the foundation that in the game of football, technique plus talent beats talent alone. For this reason, since being founded in 2007, FBU has focused on intense position-specific technique training.
  • Camp/Event
  • Nike+ Football The Opening Regional Orlando
  • 2/21/16 to 2/21/16
  • I received an invitation for the Regional Nike+ Football Combine thru the mail via my coach and I plan on attending.
  • Camp/Event
  • Big County Preps - Ignite Showcase 2016
  • 1/10/16 to 1/10/16
  • Combine for Tampa Bay Area. I received an invitation to #Xecutives Combine in the Mid-Summer. http://bigcountypreps.com/181/events/xecutives/ Linebackers: The absolute cream of the crop of the position groups on defense–and perhaps the entire camp. The seniors-to-be in this group alone compiled over 1,000 tackles if you need them and the underclassmen behind them in the sophomore and freshman group look to take over that kind of production once they hit this stage next season and beyond. This group is headlined by Gaither’s Decalon Brooks (114 tackles) and Hillsborough’s Armand Chalk (93 tackles) plus the reliables like Bloomingdale’s Colin Errity (108 tackles) and Lake Gibson’s AJ Deshazor Jr. (52 tackles). From the 18’s–there’s Jesuit’s Braden Gilby and his 128 tackles from the season that will be in the mix along with guys from Sickles, Wesley Chapel and Newsome that were tackling machines for their squads this season.
  • Camp/Event
  • "Grind it Out" Team Football Camp
  • 7/20/15 to 7/22/15
  • The Jesuit Football Team will be attending the “Grind it out” Team camp at Webber International University. Your son has been invited to attend with the team. This is a Full contact camp with the purpose not only to expose your son to college coaching and technique, but to also give us (Jesuit Coaches) a chance to coach our offensive and defensive schemes against quality competition. I will have the help of 10 other Jesuit coaches and Webber coaches who will always be on campus to supervise every student athlete. There will also be other coaches from schools around Florida and Georgia that will also help in the supervision. It is every coaches’ intention of getting better as a team. This is why even though we say full contact we will be blowing a quick whistle to try to minimize the risk of injury. I personally have been going to team camps for the past 15 years and think they are an invaluable preparation tool for the upcoming season.
  • Camp/Event
  • Ron Turner Football Camp
  • 6/21/15 to 6/21/15
  • Ron Turner’s Summer Camp is designed to allow athletes to work with college and pro level coaching techniques and increase each camper’s development as a football player. Coach Turner brings his 36 years of coaching experience, including 12 seasons in the NFL, to everyone at his camps. He and his staff are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate about the game of football and educating young players.
  • Camp/Event
  • Sound Mind Sound Body Football Academy
  • 6/11/15 to 6/12/15
  • Sound Mind Sound Body Football Academy ® was created to utilize football as a vehicle to convey to high school student-athletes that equal amounts of energy must be applied to academics, athletics and life skills development in order to be successful. The “SMSB” program model aims to accomplish this goal by emphasizing the need to focus on “Sound Mind”- academics and life skill’s sessions and “Sound Body”- athletic training. This program was designed for football student-athletes who aspire to attend college.
  • Camp/Event
  • Al Golden Football Camp
  • 6/07/15 to 6/07/15
  • The camp objective is to teach the basic fundamentals and skills of the game of football. The Miami Coaching staff will be assisted by coaches from Division I (BCS & FCS), II, and III Universities and Colleges and also the premier High School Coaches from the Southeast Region. Though the backgrounds of these coaches differ, they all share one common trait; the love of football! The opportunity to work with some of the best teachers that this great game has to offer will give you the best value of any camp you will attend this summer!
