Denny Crooks '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Denny Crooks and I love Football.  1-2 weeks after the season ends I am missing it and can not wait to get started again.  I am a 14 year old 9th grader who started school a year early and am the youngest in my class.  I have always had to play against older and larger kids, but my father is 6'4" and 300 lbs and I know I will grow significantly over the next couple of years due to my large frame.  My projected height is 6'2" and I plan on being 250 by my senior year.  I have fun and play w heart and help my teammates as I play center and have to lead my line teammates and call out plays and blocking methods.  I am 99.9% accurate on shot gun and long snaps, and near perfect under center snaps as well.  My goal is to play/start every game for 4 years in college, and see where football allows me to grow not only as a player but a strong Christian man outside of football as well.  I am my teams spiritual leader and pray before and after each game for the teams safety as well.

I was selected as the Shooting Star winner for the entire Spring Football Organization from thousands of kids in the organization.  I am a member of the Jr. National Honor Society, Honor Roll, have an FFA Discovery Degree, selected and played in the Sun Coast Select All Star Game in 2016
