Personal Statement
As a three year varsity defensive starter and two-sport athlete, I understand the meaning of hard work. This hard work has paid off this season as I've had 97 tackles (32 for losses), 7 fumble recoveries, 13 sacks, 1 blocked punt and 1 touchdown. My ability to lead my team on and off the field, play with intensity each and every game, and adjust to several positions have allowed me to become a well rounded football player.
Academically I've managed to maintain a 3.3 g.p.a. while enrolled in an arts and science dual magnet program. My short-term goal is to lead my high school football team to a state championship in 2015. Long-term, my goal is to become a game changer for your defense preferably as a linebacker or safety, but I am willing to work hard where ever I can make the most difference. I would also like to earn a four year degree and eventually work in the field of communications or architecture.
