Personal Statement
A goal of mine since I was 6 years old has been to play college football. I have made sure to outwork others in the weight room and in the classroom to get to the position where college football is a real possibility for me. I am very proud of being a captain and leader on a high school football team that went from being one of the worst teams in the country 5 years ago to being in the state playoffs the last two years. I am a great teammate and a very coachable, versatile player. I have great academics and a high football IQ. I consider myself a student of the game in the way I study my opponents and myself to better prepare for games. I'm different from most recruits because I know how to handle both winning and the spotlight, and also how to deal with and overcome losing. I believe in trusting your teammates, taking accountability for mistakes and that blaming others or complaining only hurts the team.
