Personal Statement
Playing football has always been a dream of mine, and I had the opportunity to begin my career as a freshman in Dacula High School. Playing here has taught not only things about football, but valuable lessons that would carry me on through life. Those certain lessons include sacrifice, dedication, teamwork, brotherhood, and most importantly tradition. I am fortunate enough to be a part of an amazing program going to the playoffs as a sophomore, and being region champs as a junior. The highlight of my High School career was when our under sized team faced adversity, and beat our rival, Mill Creek my junior year. Mill Creek had great talent and alot of Divison 1 Prospects on their team. It showed how hard work and never giving up can overcome talent and size through any type of situation. These life lessons allowed me to be a good lineman and the intangible skills I developed have prepared me well for the upcoming season and as a student-athelete for the next level.
I am interested in a program that would be a good school athletically, and most importantly academic-wise as well. I take to heart the value of education because I would not have a career without it, and I want to be a part of an athletic expierence as well. As a three-sport athlete, I believe I not only have the confidence to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and blue-collar mentality to be a leader as well.
