Personal Statement

I am Sean Skradis and I play quarterback for Harrison High School located in Kennesaw, Georgia just outside of Atlanta. I am six foot two and weigh one hundred and ninety pounds and run the 40 in 4.6 seconds. My max for the bench press is 260, squat is 420, and power clean is 230. I believe I can also improve in all three of these lifts. I work very hard in the weight room because I know that it will play a big part for helping me and my team in achieving a successful football season this fall. I have been playing football for nine years now and I hope to continue playing in college. Playing college football has been a dream of mine ever since I was seven years old. My dad played for University of Iowa as a linebacker. He has taught me everthing that I have to do to get to that next level in order to accomplish my dream. I have committed my spare time to train for this upcoming season and I believe that I can reach my goal. As a quarterback, I have a great responsibility of taking on the main leadership role for my team. I know that I must be a leader on and off the football field through my own actions. I must also motivate and encourage my teammates in times of adversity. I love playing on Friday nights because it is a time to show everyone how good you really are and how your team works together. My type of style as a quarterback is balanced. I can pass accurately and also throw it down the field. I also love to run when I get a chance to because that is when I really shine as a unique quarterback. My high school team runs the spread and it fits me perfectly. The type of school that I would like to go to is a school that has great academics and has a good football team. I would like to come into the program and play as a freshman or sophomore. If given the opportunity, I truly believe that I can compete at the next level of play and contribute immediately.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
