Personal Statement
Let's start with joining a team...I am a good candidate for a team because I work hard and am very coachable. While I have good skills I can always improve. I'm not afraid to put in the work and sacrifice to earn and keep my starting position.
Once I've made your team I prove I am different by being responsible, realistic and respectful. I am at classes, workouts and practice on time and take my work in and out of the classroom seriously. I am realistic about myself - not perfect but just striving to be my personal best. Respect is very important to me.... To give and show to others as well as being shown and receiving it from others.
With those pieces in place, my goal is to be the best person, athlete and citizen I can be. Football provides me the opportunity to learn a lot about life as well as providing the vehicle to fund my education....the education that equips me and prepares me for the rest of my life.
