Personal Statement

I am driven to be the best I can be in class and on the field.  I want to play football at the next level and I come from a football family.  I have overcome many personal obstacles (family tragedy) to maintain a high level of performance in the classroom and on the field.

I am blessed to have had an amazing 2016 season.  I have been awarded "Player of the Week" three times, the most recent here - 11/01/16: (http://bit.ly/2e1MrLq) - (Recent VIDEO 11/04/16: http://www.hudl.com/v/wBXbm).

More recent video: (09/02/16 http://bit.ly/2bZvhz7  , 08/12/2016 - http://bit.ly/2aXFUG2 ) and 2015 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SO35fcg5uF0

Most recent PRESS: GNO http://bit.ly/2eObgy0     MDJ http://bit.ly/2edkLrT

Focusing on improving my skills, I spent this entire summer (2016) attending numerous "skills" camps and spending extra time in the weight room and with a personal trainer to improve my speed. I participated in camps/combines at University of Georgia, Kentucky, Georgia Southern, Princeton, Univ. of Pennsylvania, Cornell and Syracuse.

Always taking every opportunity to improve, I continued after our 2014 season to compete and learn by participating in The Offense Defense Bowl (January 2015) where I helped my team win by scoring the winning TD with 51 seconds left.

Following winning the National Select Georgia Qualifier on July 11th, my teammates and I went on to participate at the "National Championship" July 17 - 18, 2015 whereby I contributed at a very high level and was recognized by Rivals.com as a "Top Performer".
