Personal Statement
I am a student athlete at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School and am in the class of 2017. I have been playing football since I was 8 years old. Since I first stepped on the field, my dream has been to play at the collegiate level. I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and am one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
As a freshman I played Tight End, Defensive End and Long Snapper. I was one of two freshman selected to dress and travel with the Varsity team. My sophomore year I played Tight End and Defensive Tackle and helped bring BT to the State Semi-Finals. As I have grown in stature, my junior year I started at Offensive Tackle and also played Defensive Tackle helping to bring BT to a 13-1-1 season, and State Runner Up.
As a sophomore, I also joined the Shot Put team at BT and lettered early in the season.
Academics are equally important to me; I study hard taking honors and AP classes while maintaining a high GPA. I am also active as a leader and am a Life Scout in Boy Scouts working towards my Eagle rank. My goal during my senior year is to be the best football player and student I can be and earn a scholarship playing the game I love. I look forward to earning the opportunity to play for a great football program and receiving an excellent college education.
