My name is Nick Hart and I am the place kicker for Lowndes High School in Valdosta, GA. I started kicking for my middle school football team in 6th grade. At that time, I was playing with a club soccer league and I continued playing both soccer and football until my Sophomore year of high school. As my kicking game became my number 1 priority, I decided to stop playing soccer so that I could train year round on my kicking form. The majority of my training has been with Mike Hollis, former all pro NFL kicker and Coach Jim Gaetano from Jacksonville. I have been training with them on my kicking form for 4 years now. This intense training has allowed me to develop a kicking technique that I can trust in any game situation. I think thats what makes me standout from other kickers. I have a strong leg, but I am also very consistent. Over the past 2 years, I have competed in kicking camps at the national level. Camps such as the Chris Sailer kicking camp, have challenged me to train harder, both mentally and physically. I want to pursue kicking at the collegiate level because football has become a part of my life and I might also be able to pay for some of my expenses, if awarded a scholarship. I am an honors student and am hoping to get a degree in the medical field.
