I am a strong believer that hard work pays off. This has been a motto that I was taught by my coach and mentor Jock Walker. Hard work is not just for the football field but also the classroom. Everything begins in the classroom. I realize that no matter how good I am on the football field, I must excel even higher in the classroom. For the good grades and GPA are the foundation for getting accepted into a great college. Currently I am working very hard on both the field and in the classroom. I am proud to say that I am a high school freshman, taking college prep and Pre- AP classes, and I have a 3.4 GPA and am preparing to take the ACT and SAT this summer.
I love the game of football and hope to pursue my dreams and career at a college that meets my academic and athlete needs. I am a student athlete and a hard worker. I am fully committed to perfecting my craft which is what my father has always taught me. Playing football has helped me become more mature and develop as a responsible and focused young man.
My ultimate dream and goal is to excel in football and become a professional player. I have always dreamed of playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. To succeed at having that dream come true would be the ultimate achievement of my life. However, I also realize that only a small percentage of college athletes actually make it to the professional level. Knowing this, makes me take my college academic learning even more seriously.
Choosing a college that has a curriculum that best fits my desired career choice is of the utmost importance. I really enjoy discussing and learning business with my grandfather who is a sales manager. To obtain a degree is business management will be ideal for starting my career and providing for my future family.
Not only do I want to succeed in life and my career, but I also have a heart for helping others. I really feel good when, even now, younger kids look up to me and show their appreciation for my talent and personality. Therefore, when I succeed in life as either an athlete or businessman, I will give back to my community to show my appreciation to those who have invested in me and supported me along the way..
