High School Statement
Success through dedication, commitment, love, and perseverance are what have helped me in the classroom and on/off the field. I started playing football in the 7th grade and the excitement, interaction, and challenges that we faced each game contributed to my craving for more (hitting and finding ways to outwit my opponent). Our 7th and 8th-grade team was UNSTOPPABLE and we won the SPAL title in 2014 I played in every game. I worked hard as a JV and Varsity player in the 9th so I could earn my spot as 1st string in my 10th-grade year. So I worked extremely hard each game (during each JV game and when the coach let me play during varsity games), lift weights (during the season and off-season), and listen to my coaches and teammates. It paid off! I was selected on the varsity team (1st string) my sophomore year and dedicated myself to giving my all on the field and we end our season 10-1, which includes the playoff. I was selected as the 2016 All-Region Team - Second-team Defense DL and selected to be a part of the Calvary Day School Student-Athletic Leadership Group. I am a very disciplined and dedicated student, I work hard each day to improve and take personal ownership of self as a son, citizen through volunteer work (relay for life, food drives, earth day, wounded warrior events, and other events), maintain good grades, and a dedicated teammate and friend. I am going to take this energy to seek out a learning institution that best fit my academic and athletic goals. My Motto: We are ONE in all things!!!!
