I have been playing football since I was 5 years old. Since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am a team leader and try to lead by example for my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a GPA of a 3.85 out of a 4.0. I plan to major and pursue a career in Civil Engineering. I also play the drums and sing for my church choir. I am a member of FFA, FCA, and National Honors Society at my school. I received the best teammate award for my FFA chapter at our Summer Leadership Camp. I hold the school record in the discus and competed in the state track meet this past year.
For my upcoming senior year, I will be transitioning from DE to Outside Linebacker because my coach feels that with my size and speed I have a better chance at playing D1 ball at that position. I also feel that the position is a better fit for me due to my speed increase, running a 40yd dash of 4.66.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to find a college that will allow me to reach that potential at the highest level possible.
I am strong both physically and mentally. I am very coachable and have no disciplinary problems at all. I also plan to re-test on both the ACT and SAT this upcoming October.
