My aspirations in life and my goals as a student-athlete, to become the best at what I am passionate towards and to be a master of my craft (Football, Art, Medical and biological science), is what separates me from the rest of my peers. I am not complacent with the things I am skilled in; I take pride in what I do and judge myself not but what I do right, but what I can do better. I have humility, but I do not allow that virtue to over-power the confidence I have in myself to become the best. My continual drive for self improvement, my ability to understand my short comings and how to fix them, my individuality, and my understanding of the importance of personal responsibility and the grave consequences of complacency is what makes me a worthy candidate for your team.
I understand the power of a college degree and it's ability to further shape my life, and I respect the gifts and the opportunities that I was privileged to have; these facets of my personality will reflect in the work I will do on the field, in the classroom, and throughout my life. The adversity life has shown me, through my sister's leukemia, through football, and through a internal struggle to be the best person I can be made me a man who values character and perseverance.
