Bryce Lunsford '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bryce Lunsford. I am 6'2, 215 pounds. I play defensive end, guard, and I have experience long snapping. I have an cumulative GPA of 3.0. I am very passionate when it comes to sports, being the captain of both the football team and the wrestling team. I surprised a lot of people when I decided I wanted to play college football because they all believed I would wrestle in college. No one understood the passion I have for football. Anything involving football gets me excited. When most people are ready for football season to be over I am the guy not wanting it to end and this may be why I want to continue my football career. Other sports I have participated in would be wrestling, baseball, tennis, and track. I would like to let you know I am wrestling at the weight of 182 this year which shouldn't concern you because my junior year I weighed 195 and wrestled 160.   Whether on the field or off the field I work hard at everything that I do. I strive to out work my opponents because I know that nothing is given. I have always been told that anything worth having is worth working hard for. My parents have always told me to have respect for others and always be honest, it will carry you a long way. I believe I am a very honest person and I also want to believe that most people are honest as well. In order to be honest with others you have to be honest with yourself and that is what I try to do every day. I also try to be respectful and honest because I expect honesty and respect in return. I am willing to do whatever it takes and I know college wont be easy but if I get an opportunity to play football while earning my degree it will all be worth it.
