I've played football since I was six years old and it has always been a passion of mine. I started all four years of my high school career. As a freshman I started at the running back position and was awarded all-district honorable mention free safety. As a sophomore I started at the tight end position and was awarded all-district honorable mention outside linebacker. As a Junior I started at the middle linebacker position and was named second team all-district and second team all-Western Iowa quarterback. My senior year I was awarded class 1A district 8 quarterback of the year and all-Western Iowa. I also excelled in other sports in high school including basketball, baseball, and track.
College football has always been a dream of mine but my high school grades said otherwise. I didn't realize how important my grades were until it was too late. I am getting back on track at Iowa Central Community College by obtaining a 3.1 gpa while improving my football skills. I am currently enrolled in 18 credit hours and I am on pace to graduate at the end of the fall semester of my sophomore year.
I put in a lot of work outside of college practice and workouts to be the best that I can be. I am very coachable athlete that can make adjustments the first time I am told. Since I have been quarterback my whole life, I have developed outstanding leadership skills that help me on and off the field. I am very excited to have the chance to transfer and make an impact at a 4 year college due to my ability and playing experience at the collegiate level.
