Chris Hansen '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chris Hansen.  I am from Pocatello, Idaho. I am 5'10" and weigh 170 lbs.  I play kicker, quarterback, and punter. This year is my Junior year in school.  I start at quarterback, kicker, and punter.  During the first varsity game of the year, I broke my ankle which took me out for the whole season. I am now at 100%. I value my school work.  I maintain a high GPA with honors and AP classes.  When I was only 13 years old, I earned my Eagle Scout award.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. About 5% of scouts receive the Eagle Scout award and a majority of those individuals don't earn the award until age 16-18. This has taught me to work hard, set goals and achieve them, and serve.  I plan to attend the University that will provide me the greatest education to fulfill my life dreams.

I have attended 3 kicking camps this summer. I attended a Boise State kicking camp, a Kohls regional camp in South Jordan, Utah where I was the #1 punter and the #2 kicker. I recorded multiple 68 yard kickoffs and recorded a 70 yard kickoff. I averaged 3.59 hang time. I also made a 57 yard field goal in the field goal competition. Following the camp I was invited to the Kohl's invitational scholarship camp in Wisconsin.
