I have loved playing football ever since I dressed up as Matt Hasselbeck for Halloween when I was 4 years old. I started playing flag football at age 5, and then transitioned to Pop Warner when I was 8. That year I was playing up with 10 year olds, and my team was good. We ended up winning the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando, Florida. After that day I didn't only love football, I loved winning. In the future I hope to be a winner in life, and going to college is the first step of this goal. I love winning, but an even better feeling is winning with a team. Winning with others who are hard working and willing to put in the time it takes to become great. I believe everyone can do something great, some people might just need inspiration. As a leader that is my main goal. I get the best out of everyone who is willing to trust me and follow me. I don't get them to do this by yelling or telling them to do it. I choose to lead by example, and if people follow me, then I will lead them to their goals. As a student athlete I will give full effort 100% of the time. God has been kind and has given me athleticism, but I am clearly not the most athletic person out there. Something I live by is a saying that is pretty cheesy, but it is true. The saying is hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. And I promise, whatever school or team I end up going to, I will work as hard as I can to improve my skills along with the teams overall success.
