Personal Statement

In the fall of 2010, I was accepted into Mount Carmel High School where I attended Freshman and Sophomore years.  During my time at Mount Carmel , I was an active part of their football team and excelled in the positions of Slot Receiver/Corner.  Sophomore year I had a breakout season and was known as one of the top players/leaders on the team.  I also, was among the top 25 pick during the 2011-2012 school year.
In the fall of 2012 , I enrolled in Curie High School where I have several AP/Honors courses and currently maintain a grade point average of 3.2.  As a Junior I hit the ground running and continued to progress at becoming a better player. Although my primary position was Running Back, I am also a very productive Athlete on Special teams and Kick Off Return.  My consistency, leadership, and drive helped me to end the season with All Conference Player Of The Year and Offensive MVP on Curie's Varsity Team.
One of my aspirations is to play on a college football organization where I can incorporate the knowledge/skills I have developed over the years and apply them into a system that focuses on teamwork and leadership. Getting accepted into a college that offers both academic/athletic interest; would allow me to continue to enhance who I am as an individual, and to lead by example. My goal is to take my game to the next level while also working towards a degree in Engineering.  My parents laid a strong foundation for me and I want to continue to build upon it.  I aspire to be a man who leaves a legacy behind and with hard work I know that every step I take will be better than the previous one.  I'm ready for future challenges and excited about taking my career to the collegiate level and beyond!
