My love for game started very early. I was born in Chicago, but moved to South Africa when I was three months old. Upon visiting family in the States, I was introduced to football at a very young age, this is when my passion for football was ignited. Considering that football was actually soccer in my new country of residence, my grandparents would send me “American” footballs, two to three times a year, and the latest edition of Madden. I would approach anyone in the country willing to “toss the ball”. Eventually, as an elementary student, I located an international bible college nearby; and played football with college students every chance I got.
“Hanging out” with the bible students also proved to be valuable role models for me, encouraging faith based decisions for the rest of my life. Some ways in which I consider myself to be an Athleader have been by giving back to the community youth football program as a volunteer trainer, working as a volunteer for food pantrys by loading food from local farmers and offloading to the local food pantrys in DuPage county, and I have also volunteered at my High School as a tutor for underclassmen.
I am completely dedicated to being the best student athlete that I can be. My goal is to study pre-medicine in college and major in medicine and medical studies. I have maintained the honor roll for my entire high school career and I have been enrolled in honors math for two consecutive years.
I always commit my utmost to my team and the football program in its entirety. As a freshman I was honored the coveted “most improved player of the year” award. Lifting twice a day is a regular part of my personal training program coupled with getting enough sleep and proper balance of nutrition. I regularly attend kicking camps such as Kohl’s during off season in order to continue training year round. I am currently receiving private kicking coaching from a college kicker from our local college. During my high school career I have played football in the positions of quarterback, running back and kicker/punter. I have also been a starter on the wrestling team.
If selected by your learning Institution, I will come fully committed, and dedicated into making our football team, and academic program successful.
