2013 (Junior) - This past season, I was a 2-way varsity starter, playing DE and OT.  Named ALL-STATE HONORABLE MENTION (same as 2nd Team) OT for Division 5A.  Also named 1ST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE DE AND OT.  As a result of my All-Conference status and because of my current cumulative GPA, I was named to the 2013 Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Academic All-State Team for Division 5A.  Also named 2013 Belleville News-Democrat Large School (5A-8A) All-Area Football Team 2nd Team Defensive and Offensive Lineman (only lineman--1st or 2nd team--to be named both ways).

Named 2013 Defensive Lineman MVP at the Illinois Big Man Camp and received the Adidas All-In Invite to the 2014 US Army National Combine in San Antonio, TX, in connection with the US Army All-American Bowl week at the Alamodome.  This top award was based on my performance at the Football University camp in Chicago, IL, on June 14-16, 2013, which was attended by some 300 athletes.

2012 (Sophomore) - I was a 2-way varsity starter, playing DE, OT and TE.  Named 1ST TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE DE and 2ND TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE OT.  As a result of being named 1st Team All-Conference DE and because of my current cumulative GPA, I was named to the 2012 Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Academic All-State Team for Division 5A. Also received a 2012 Belleville News-Democrat Large School (5A-8A) All-Area Football Team Honorable Mention as both Defensive and Offensive Lineman.

2011 (Freshman) - Starting member of varsity, JV and freshman football teams, starting both ways on the JV and freshman teams and earning my varsity letter. Named 2012 Eastbay Youth All-American. Earned invitation to Football University (FBU) Top Gun invitation-only camp 2010, 2011 and 2012.

2-time wrestling state qualifier, placing 1st in the 2013 IHSA Wrestling Regionals and 3rd in the 2013 IHSA Wrestling Sectionals in the 220 lbs. division.  I earned my varsity letter in wrestling as a freshman by being a state qualifier after placing 1st in the 2012 IHSA Wrestling Regionals and 4th in the 2012 IHSA Wrestling Sectionals in the 220 lbs. division, and in so doing, I was named "Athlete of the Week" by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and earned an Honorable Mention on the Belleville News Democrat All-Area Wrestling Team. I placed 2nd in the State in the 215 lb. weight class at the IKWF State Tournament in March 2011 after placing 1st in Regionals and 1st in Sectionals.
