Jacob White '14 Recruiting Profile

My aspiration is to play Division I football at a school that has applicable academics.  I realize that college is much more than a 4-year decision, as it forms the foundation for my life.  I start at LB and FB, but can play any position that is asked of me. I played varsity football as a sophomore, and was selected to all conference as a junior.  I play varsity baseball and basketball, contributing a significant amount for each sport.  I believe that playing two other sports besides football will help me mature as a person, become more team-orientated, and also make me a better football player.  Certain aspects of the other sports I play help me become a better overall athlete.  Basketball increases my speed, quickness, and stamina, while baseball works on reflexes and responding to failure.  Both sports increase my mental toughness.  Because of my ability to play different sports, I am extremely versatile on the football field.  I play these sports and still manage to improve my strength, size, and speed.  I am a very scrappy, hard worker that does not take NO for an answer.  I will do whatever it takes to become a better player within the rules of the game.
