The reason I play football is because I like the feeling you get of being a part of a team that comes together as a family. Another reason I love football is the grind and the dedication you have to put into a football team to be successful. You have to grind day to day week to week month to month and year to year to be successful at anything you do in life. My dad once told me that one way to be successful is do your best and do not leave your future in anybody else's hands but your own. Every night I think to my self and ask did I do the best I could today did I put forth maximum effort? I don't play football to get attention or goof around I play football to make me into a better person. I've only been playing football since 6th grade, and only been playing quarterback since 8th grade. Now that to me tells me something that it is not how long you have been playing the position or sport, but your effort, attitude, and focus you put in to that sport or position that separates you from average, good, and great. Some of my dreams and goals are to attend a D1 college not just based on their football program, but their academic program. I want to pursue my dream of playing football at the High school level, College level, and the Professional level. All the camps and showcases that I've been to always bring up the statistics and percentages on how many players out of high school go to D-1 schools and from there go to the NFL and they are not high at all, but that just makes me want it so much more. I mean someone is telling me that I can not do something that right there is motivating. They are being realistic with you which is perfectly fine, but to those players who really want it and grind everyday for it year round that right there is motivating. I will never give up or quit on my self, my teammates, or my dreams, and for that no matter what happens throughout my career rather it be school, sports, a job anything it will all make me into a better person in the end.
