I have grown up playing as many sports as i can play (football, track, basketball, and wrestling). After freshmen year i wanted to concentrate on football and i made that my sport. I dont think there is anything better for a young man or woman then to play team sports. over the years football has helped me develop my leadership skills and discipline along with the athletic side of the game.
As a sophomore i got the opportunity to start for my varsity team and became a team captain for my up and coming junior and senior seasons. As a team we were co-conference champs, and then we went on too lose to the future state champs Rochester in the first round of the 4A playoffs.
I also now understand how important the acedemic side is in this process as well. i will be just as comitted in the classroom as i will be on the field. I have been told that my best assets as a student-athlete is that i am dedicated, hard-working, and have a passion for the game.
