My name is Kaylan Acosta and i am junior at Notre Dame College Prep in Niles,IL. I am a 5'10 linebacker who is flexible to play at both the linebacker position and anywhere on the defensive line. I bring quickness and strength to my game, along with the knowledge. I was recently selected to be apart of and start for the USA National Select team which went on to beat the IFAF World Team at Dallas stadium this past January.
It has always been a dream of mine to become a college football player. Ever since a was a young boy, i have always made sure to put my academics as a priority in my life. In order,my priorities are God,family, school, and football.Football has allowed me to get closer on achieving my goals. Becoming a college athlete has been my drive to push myself to take that extra step on becoming successful. I believe that hard work is the foundation of all success. My Christian faith has taught me that God can do all things as long as you do your part. A day does not go by where i am not thinking about how i can become a better athlete, leader, and a better person. Anything and everything i do will only affect my future; this thought helps me to always make that right choice and stay focused on my goals. I plan on attending a average sized school that will challenge me both academically and physically. The worth ethic i have matches none other, I am never satisfied with being good. I always push myself farther thanwhat my limits are
