Jermaine Goldsmith '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jermaine Goldsmith and I am 17 years old. I play football and also run track and field. I began playing football when I was in the 4th grade and have been in love with the game ever since. I have a deep passion for football and have big goals of going to a great college and making my family proud. Not only do I play football because I have the heart for it, but also because it can help me get a scholarship to receive an education to better myself and be successful in life. I am willing to do whatever it takes to meet the requirements to play at the highest division level of football. I am a great asset to a team and can contribute in many ways. I am a people's person, so i easily get along with new people that I meet. I am capable of leading and taking charge of the situation at hand when necessary. For example, I was captain of the track team my sophomore year and was nominated captain again this year. I make big plays when needed, and help bring momentum when the team needs it most. I am very dependable and I never quit on my team. I am a dynamic person and versatile, able to play multiple positions well. I am a team player and i make every effort to ensure that all that I do enables the team as a whole to be successful.
