Julian Haynie '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2 QB/DB from Machesney Park, Illinois. I was a starter on the Guilford football team as a sophomore and earned 1st team all conference as a DB. I currently have a 3.0 GPA and looking to improve to a higher GPA. Personally I am looking for an institution where I can find a good balance between academics and athletics. Also I want to pursue a university with an outstanding engineering program. My athletic environment would be one were I would make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DI or DII level although I will definitely consider high academic DIII opportunities. So more about me, I've been playing football since I was 8. Right when I step on the field I just felt like this was were I belonged. Like it was my sanctuary. Playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that would change my life forever. I am always working to improve my skills, as well as training to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I am a team leader and always am leading by example while also encouraging my teammates. Very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you'll ever find. While in the classroom I take it very seriously, I study hard and try my best to maintain a high GPA. Somewhere where can push myself in the classroom an on the field, that's the university I want to pursue. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
