Personal Statement

Growing up I've been told by most of my coaches that I'm the kid that plays with a lot of heart. Probably because I’ve always been the type of person who sets extremely high goals, whether it’s in sports, academics or the weight room.  I plan to go to a college that will give me the best opportunity to achieve my goals both academically and athletically. Football is one of the greatest and most competitive sports out there. Everyday I'm in the weight room because it takes dedication to become stronger and faster and I don’t leave until I’m assured that I've worked harder than everyone else. I not only compete against my opponents, I compete against teammates, and mostly myself, to strive to be the best I can possibly be. But the competition among teammates is always a healthy one.  I’d like to think it keeps them motivated to be the strongest and the best they can be as well. Football displays the importance of teamwork. However, regardless of how strong we all are, coach always says, “You’re only as good as your weakest link”, saying, it doesn’t matter who's on field with you.  You can never give up on them, you can only make them better. And the best results come from teamwork. Football has offered life lessons that are extremely valuable for my future.  I have always worked hard and will continue to work hard in college and a football team that will give me the opportunity. And my next goal is that my contributions in college prove to be of great value academically and athletically.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
