Personal Statement
My name is Toby Stipp and I am a 6'1" 150 lbs. WR and FS from Villa Grove, IL. I may not be the biggest guy out there physically, but my heart to play college football is bigger than most. I play for a very small 1-A school. We have gone to the playoffs for three years straight. I was Honorable Mention Receiver this year for the conference. Our offense is based off the option run game. And I only got passed to maybe 10 times all year. So, I am guessing my blocking skills on the perimeter made up for not getting thrown to very much.
Football is second in importance in my life behind school work. I take my schooling very seriously. I am in advanced math so I am basically taking a college math class as a senior (Calculus 1). I am also getting my CNA through a program at Parkland College. I want to get my degree in Athletic Training preferably. But, I am also thinking about going into Physical Therapy.
My goal is to play for a Division 1 team. I do not care about how good they are or any of that. I will play for any team that wants me. Like I said before, I may not be the biggest kid out there, but I will push myself and do whatever it takes to get a chance to play on the field on Saturdays.
I feel like playing college football is a great way to bring out the potential I never thought I had. And again, I will do anything and everything it takes to reach my goal!
