Personal Statement
My goal is to play for a team and be the team everyone talks about. I am not afraid to work from the bottom to get where my team and I belong. I will aspire to make myself and my teammates better no matter what the odds against us are. I got this mentality from my JFL and later Varsity coach, Spencer Davis. He told me at a very young age that character isn't what you say to make yourself sound or feel good, its your actions that prove to everyone else who you really are. I have been playing football since the 5th grade and I haven't wavered from the path. I've always enjoyed the process to get to a dominant position. The lifting, running until you're sick, and knocking the snot out of whoever has the guts to line up across from you. My goals for high school are simple, just go to the next level. Both for academics and athletics. As far as college goes, I want to be prepared to go into the world and make a difference and be the same type of person that instills this passion, not only for sports but for being a good human being, into the next generation, like my coach did for me.
