Hello, my name is Logan Calvin, and I am a 6’2”, 225 lb. senior at Bloomington North High School (BHSN) in Bloomington, Indiana. I have been a three sport, varsity athlete since my sophomore year and been involved in multiple sports, including football, since grade school. I was MVP of my freshman football team and have been a varsity starter at tight end since the first game of my sophomore year. I am a versatile player who starts both as tight end and defensive end, yet also play fullback, slot, nose guard, and snap for PAT and field goals.
My high school football coach recently shared a comment with my parents during the 2015 season that he wishes the entire team would practice as hard as I do. That work ethic also holds true in the classroom, as I have been an Honor Roll student for the past three years in high school while participating in honors math and science classes. I have received a number of awards for my character and athleticism, including most outstanding physical education student freshman year and the 2014 BHSN Daughters of the American Revolution Youth Citizenship Award recognizing qualities of dependability, honor, service, courage, leadership, and patriotism. I am excited to play college football and while I am unsure at this time of my field of study, I have interests in environmental science, accounting, and exercise science.
