Events

  • Camp/Event
  • FBU Chicago 2011 and 2012
  • 6/15/12 to 6/17/12
  • This was Israel's 2nd year at FBU and he received a "Bubble Bid" for Top Gun camp. and had a pretty solid learning experience and performance. Trying to stay consistent and Coach Chad Carpenter pointed out a couple simple adjustments with the front shoulder and distance of first step to get the hip more into the throw. Israel has been mindfully working on such things since the camp and has noticed the volicity difference. - Coach Chad said that Israel has made huge improvements since last year's camp and he will work hard all year to get a Top Gun bid in Virginia
  • Camp/Event
  • Coach Slack "Quaterback Academy"
  • 6/09/07 to 6/10/07
  • Israel was 8 when he attended Coach Slack's Quaterback Academy at Ben Davis High School, Indianapolis, IN. He learned the proper technique and basics of how to throw the football and how to self correct if you are experiencing problems. Most kids were High School kids, Israel was by far the youngest there. Israel was also 1 of only 3 kids at the camp to throw the football from half court and hit the rim. He learned alot at that camp and it got him started in the right direction at an early age.

Training

  • Off Season Hardcore Weight Training at Strength Haven
  • 2 years
  • Has been training in the off season from Jan to June 2-3 times a week with Dan Gibson at Strengh Haven.....Dan trains him with strength, footwork, speed, cardio, and core training.
  • Regular Training Throwing, Footwork, and such
  • 8 years
  • Israel regularly works out with Me, his father, 4 times a week working on dropback footwork, consistency in the throw, timing of the throw, and as many different routes as we can think of at variable distances. Israel and I also work on his hand offs and various styles of pitches along with what happens before, during and after a play.

Additional Sports

  • Wrestling
  • 4 years
  • Junior Varsity Team
  • Israel also has taken Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since he was 6, he hasnt been to a class in a few years because of his inclined interest of football but he finished as a 2 stripe yellow belt
