Ryan Topper '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ryan Topper and I am a 6'3" 205 lb. wide receiver.  As a freshman I was the JV rotating Quarterback and Wide Receiver.  My sophomore year I started on Varsity team at a new position of Cornerback and I was able to help my team experience winning a Sectional Championship.  It was an amazing feeling that nobody can ever take away from me.  This year I was the starting Wide Receiver and starting Cornerback playing both sides of the ball along with playing on most special teams.  Over the season I set 4 school receiving records, and am ranked #1 in Indiana Class 2A for receiving yards.  I was voted Team MVP and NSC All-Conference Receiver and named (2A) AP All-State as a Junior.  At season end I am ranked #2 overall for touchdowns and #10 overall for receiving in the state of Indiana.  I pride myself on being a good student of the game and a hard worker off the field as well.  I know that these awards are earned and not given which is why I continue to find ways to improve myself and also why I play basketball and baseball.  I know that being a well rounded, coachable athlete will improve my performance in football.  My goal is to find a school that offers the best blend of academic excellence and high-level football.  I want to achieve my goal of playing collegiate level football and look forward to talking to you further about your program and how I can be an asset to it.
