Personal Statement
Thank you for taking the time to review my personal statement. My name is Brandon Yeagy and I am a 5 foot 10 In. and 190 lb. high school football player. School comes before football in my life and I work hard to maintain that balance. I am looking for a school that I can contribute on the field, but will also prepare me for the rest of my life. I strive for high values, I work hard to reach my goals and I focus on what is important in my life.
I love to succeed and I love the game of football, always have. I look to play at the highest level my talent and ability will allow me to attain. However my education will be a priority. I hope to major in pre-physical therapy / sports medicine and after football gain a master's degree in occupation or physical therapy. At 17 years old, I am all ready job shadowing at the Purdue University sports training department and with a sports performance trainer.
I believe that hard work prepares you to succeed. Weekly speed and agility sessions, almost daily strength training as well as offseason skills and drills are part of my normal routine. A lack of effort on my part will never defeat me. That is who I am and what I would be for you and your program. I contribute at the highest levels of personal performance and I provide on and off the field leadership that helps my team and coaches win games.
Lastly I am a person of high integrity. There are no worries about my conduct or ability to thrive and live up to your investment in me. I want to be the best choice you have ever made!
Thank you for your consideration.
Respectfully, Brandon Yeagy (#25), Class of 2016
