Erik Escobedo '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!

                     My name is Erik Escobedo. I am senior at Mishawaka High School in Mishawaka Indiana. I used to play Baseball and Wrestle, but I chose to focus on the sport I love Football. The positions I play are Defensive end, and outside linebacker. I am 210 and 6 foot, I am quick and a good blitzer. I am going to be attending camps at colleges and some combines so that I can improve my ability to play. Defense isn't the only thing I do on the field, I am also on kick off, kick return, punt, punt return, field goal, and field goal block. I have pretty good speed and a good nose for where the ball is at. I am a good leader not only in the class room, but also on the field. I take my academics more seriously than anything else in my life. I will do whatever it takes to get a college diploma and to also be on the field for that same school. I am currently looking at D1, D2 and NAIA schools with a decent academic program. Even though I am not sure what Major I would like to pursue, I am leaning towards law and business. I have many goals as an athlete. My main goal is to make it easier for my parents to pay for college so we won't be in debt coming out of 4 years of college. My second goal is to help my team to go to state like we did last year, but this time win it. I would like to make an impact on the team I will be playing for.
