I am Mitch Gilles, a 6'2", 205 lb. senior at Castle High School in Newburgh, IN. Castle is a 5A school with an approximate enrollment of 1950 students. After 2 years of varsity play, I totaled 76 passing TD'S and I have broken three more school records. I broke 17 total school records in my career.

I ended that season with 33 TD's & 3,099 total yards. I helped lead my team to 11-1 record, going undefeated in the regular season, and winning the SIAC. I was selected First Team All-Conference, All-State Honorable Mention, and Team Offensive MVP of the Year. I also received local awards including the Tri-State News 25 Home Team Friday Live MVP of the Year, Turoni's Player of the Game Award for week 8, News 25 Player of the Week Award for week 8, and the Herff Jones Horseshoe Classic MVP at Lucas Oil Stadium in week 2. I broke several school records last season including passing yards in a game (364), longest pass (99 yards), passing touchdowns in a season (33), and passing yards in a season (3,099). Last spring, I was selected by the Gridiron Digest Magazine as one of the top 25 athletes in Indiana out of 18,000 considered.
I play two sports at Castle (football and baseball), and I am on track to graduate with academic honors in 2013 with a current GPA of 3.5. I am a confident and hard working leader who believes in always working to be the best I can be. I believe attitude is everything, and I always try to stay positive. I hope to make my dream come true by furthering my academics while playing football at the highest competitive level possible.
