Many teammates and coaches have influenced who I am today, but some of the most powerful people in my life are my family. My family have taught me various life lessons and skills. They have always been there at my games and practices since I was young. I first started playing sports since I can remember. Starting out with football, baseball, and basketball. I also began playing rugby recently. I now only play football and rugby. Team sports have always been my favorite, and playing teams sports help me connect with more people and help me become a better person. I feel like with team sports I have learned that everything isn’t handed out in life. I learned this because I haven’t always been a starter my whole life. Being bigger than most kids, I still had to grind away and push myself to become the number one in the depth chart. I feel like with my willing to fight for spots and the burning passion for sports will help me compete in the next level at the right school for me not only athletically, but academically.
