It has always been a dream of mine to play college football, but I want to pick a University that carries my preferred field of study(currently. Physiology and Communications) so I can find a career after I graduate college. I would also like a "college town" feel around the University and a University that is within or relatively close to Indiana. I am a leader by nature and I tend to take charge, but I am open to constructive criticism about my leadership and suggestions from others on what direction my team should take. My freshman year I was invited to go to a leadership retreat with around 100 other young leaders in my school where we learned to trust other leading styles and many different cultures. I was also selected by the student council out of nearly 4,000 students in my school. I was nominated and selected to participate in the RYLA or (Rotary Youth Leadership Association) which was a was a great experience which improved and tuned my leadership skills. I am in the MCJROTC at Warren Central. I am on the student council where I work many events around my community. I am planning on partcipating in Student Council through my senior year. Additionally, I am working to help re-establish a Youth Group at my church so we can help our surrounding community. I was recently nominated and selected to attend Hoosier Boys State which is a highly selective leadership program in Indiana. In terms of sports I was unnamously selected by my teammates my freshman year to be a captain of the freshman football team. My freshman year I lead my team in tackles from the outside as well as the inside linebacker positions. I also won the County wrestling tournament. As a sophmore I was named the starting varsity longsnapper and earned my varsity letter. I was also a starting linebacker on a national seven on seven team that won many national qualifying tournaments includuding the Notre Dame tornament which we won in back-to-back years. We were undefeated for two seasons.
