Personal Statement
I am a student-first prospect who is driven to play college athletics and successfully attain a college degree in a challenging field of study. Dedicated to the game of football, I have committed myself to doing everything possible to achieve the goal of playing at the next level. Over the course of my high school career, I have accepted the challenge of playing multiple defensive positions and will return as the team's leading tackler for my senior season.
Over the span of my high school education, I have repeatedly challenged myself in the classroom by completing advanced placement and honors levels courses in all of my math and science classes. My overall goal is to find a university that offers a degree in Actuarial Science and will offer me the opportunity to play football at the next level.
Outside of the classroom, I participate and lead in faith-based clubs and activities as well as volunteer my time at my high school. I assist our Athletic Department by working at athletic events that I do not participate in so that all sports programs can be successful. I also hold a part time job that occupies 10-15 hours every week. I am one of 9 children in my family and am also expected to help with the five youngest children who my family has adopted from the local foster system. These added responsibilities have taught me discipline and the importance of using my time wisely.
In conclusion, I feel that I am a unique prospect who has a lot to offer a college football program. Please contact my head football coach, my position coach or my speed coach for more information.
