Will Whiton '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" QB/DB from Perry,IA. I am currently preparing for my Senior season and have great relationships with all the varsity coaches in all four sports (FB/Basketball/Track/Baseball). My teammates consider me a leader and role-model. I have a 4.166 GPA on a 4.0 scale. I love whatever sport is in season, but my focus is to become a college football or baseball player. I am looking for an university where I can find good academics along with a top athletic program. I would like to pursue a university with an academic reputation in many areas as I have not decided what I would like to major in as of yet. Ideally, my athletic situation would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best position in college would be wide receiver where I could use my speed and my ability to catch the ball.  I was invited to the Rivals.com camp in St. Louis in April 2013 as a WR and attended the Iowa State camp in June of 2013 as a WR as well. My goal is to play at the FBS/FCS or DII level, but I am open to all possibilities. I have been chosen 1st team All-State as Sophomore and Junior by the Iowa Newspaper Association and 1st All-State from the Iowa Baseball Coaches as a Sophomore.
