Max Gilliland '21 Recruiting Profile

A 4-year football letterman, I have excelled on both the defensive and offensive lines on a team that has played in 3 of the last 4 state championship games.   As a 2 time all-district Center, I am the leader of our offensive line group that propelled a 2,000 yard rusher in 2020.   Following a narrow loss in the championship game, I was named 2nd Team All-State by the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association.  

I am a competitor on the field and in the classroom.  I never back down from a challenge on the field or in the classroom.  Coaches and teachers have praised my ability to listen and do what they've taught me.  I am well-liked by my teammates because I always put the team first and do whatever will make my team successful.
