Personal Statement
I am a student athlete at Sumner Academy, We are ranked the #4 School in the country in academics, we have consistently been number one in the state in academics. I am very proud to attend this school and get a good education. Since third grade I've been in a program called "gifted", its a program for students who test highly on a combination of cognitive ability and academic achievement. The program's goal is to make sure I am encountering challenging content at all levels and my social/educational needs are being met. My goals are to get my education paid for with collegiate football and contribute to my team. Im a good candidate for your team because being from Sumner academy we have to face a lot of adversity to keep that #4 spot, I work hard in and out of school. I've learned from a young age that hard work paves the path to success, I'm mature and disciplined and can apply the discipline I learn at Sumner to your program. I'm different from other recruits because I work harder on and off the field than others to chase the success that I want. I've worked in my family business since the age of 12, now my 14 year old brother, my dad, and I, solely run our business. Being the oldest of 4 siblings, I've learned to be responsible and manage my time. Everything I've learned in life up to now will be of great use to me to contribute and be a good addition to your program. Thank you.
