Blake Brown '18 Recruiting Profile

My love for Football started when I first stepped on the field in the fourth grade and now it is my passion.  Since high school began, football has become a lifestyle. The season starts in early January at 6:00 A.M every day of the week. This discipline led us to an undefeated season my Junior year, until the state championship game, where we fell short to a last second field goal. This loss helped to shape me into the athlete I am today. It has motivated me to be the fastest, strongest, and most physical receiver in the league in order to finish our business as state champions next season.

I am fortunate to play at an incredible 6A high school for some of the best coaches out there. They have taught me the value of sacrifice, dedication and teamwork, as well as to lead like a champion both on and off the field.   I have learned the importance of giving it my all, and am committed to excellence both athletically and academically.  I strive to get straight A's every semester.  As a three-sport athlete, I'm accustomed to the demands of a busy schedule and the commitment required to excel.  I believe I can give your team something that you won't find anywhere else by doing the things other receivers don't like to do.  Taking a defender out of a play is just as fun and important as catching the ball, and I am a relentless blocker.  I will bring your team a physical trait that your offense might be lacking, in addition to leadership that drives teamwork and success.
