Mason Flechler '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’6”, 315 lbs. offensive tackle that loves to play football.  I have been playing since I was 6 years old.  I am currently a Senior in high school and take my role very seriously as a leader.  Playing sports throughout school has made me work harder in the classroom. I believe as a result of growing up within a sports oriented family, I have a work ethic and drive that will not only benefit me for years to come but also any collegiate program that allows me to play for them.

I work very hard to do well in the classroom because I realize that grades are ultimately number one.  Currently, I have a 3.5 GPA with a Cumulative 2.9 GPA.  I know that sports are for a very short period of time and that I will have a career someday outside of playing football. I want to be successful at everything I do!

In addition to playing Varsity football, I also am a member of the Varsity basketball team.  I choose to play basketball because it helps with my conditioning and footwork during the offseason and keeps be very active.

I have a 6’10” wingspan and I run a 40 yard dash in 5.3 seconds.  I work extremely hard in the weight room and during the offseason because I realize the harder I work individually, the better I can help my team.

My goals are to play collegiate football while getting an education.  I enjoy being a part of a team, building a bond with my teammates and coaches, representing my school the absolute best way possible and of course I enjoy WINNING!
