I am a 6'1" 295 pound center from Owensboro, KY. I have started on the Owensboro High School varsity team for 2 years now. I have a 3.7 unweighted GPA and a 4.01 Weighted GPA. My ACT score is 32 composite, and I feel as if i take on a rigid course load with my classes.
I am looking for a college or university where my academics are considered priority to the coaches as well as to the school. Although football is very important to me, my classwork and pursuit to a career after college is of more importance. I would like to attend college or university with an excellent academic reputation in the field of political science and/or law.
Ideally, i would like to attend a team with a competitive background. I want to attend a school that wants to win, not be average. I would like to make an immediate impact on the team, whether it be by starting or being a backup and learning the ropes the very first year. I don't really have a preference for what level i want to play at. Ideally, I would also like to attend a school within about 12 hours of home to remain close to my family.
