Personal Statement
I love football and I love working with my team to set new goals to improve each practice. For the past two years, I have been a varsity starter on both sides of the ball. This past season I helped lead my team to a winning season (one of four for my program in the past 30 years) I was also named to the All District Team as top lineman in our district with 88 solo tackles. Since I come from such a small high school and do not get to challenge myself daily with top players that hope to play at the next level, I travel to as many combines and camps as my family can afford. This past summer I was named Offensive MVP at Offense Defense camp at Thomas More College, and then was named Top 100 sophomores in the country by NUC. At the NUC All-American game, I was the starting center for the south side and we won our final game against the north. I enjoyed learning rail blocking as this event. This was something I had not had the chance to use and I was very successful at blocking some of the best defensive sophomores in the country. My main focus right now is to increase my speed and agility and refine my linebacker skills. If given the opportunity, I would love to play football in college and major in sports medicine or physical therapy.
