Personal Statement

I began playing football when I was 4 years old. From the first time I stepped on the field, I knew I wanted to play the game at the collegiate level. I understand the opportunity to play football in college is once in a lifetime, and I know it will change my life for the better.

I am always striving to improve myself as a player, as well as training to become bigger, faster, and stronger. I have attended weight lifting and training classes since the summer after sixth grade. I am a very coachable player, and am always looking for advice that will better me and my game. I am a team leader, whether it is on or off the field, and always try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am constantly pushing myself to be one of the hardest working recruits you will find.

In the classroom, I have always studied hard and maintained a high GPA. I am enrolled in several AP and college level classes this year, as well as next. I am a member of my high school's Letterman's Club, where I volunteer to help out at nursing homes, clean the community's streets, and spend time with the younger children in the school system. I am also a member of my high school's Peer Tutoring program, so every other day I go to the community's elementary school, and help students with their homework and assignments, as well as aid the teachers.

I am searching for a college where I can continue to push myself on the football field, as well as in the classroom. I am looking at and open to all options, and my wish is to find the right college for me at the highest level of competition possible. I am striving to fulfill my dream of playing football at the collegiate level, and to become an example for my peers to follow.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
