Anders Vance '16 Recruiting Profile

Anders has been an always improving football player for us at Louisburg High School.  After his freshman year, the coaching staff challenged Anders to improve his footwork, which he came back the next year with solid feet.  Anders consistently tries improving his weaknesses.  His flexibility, strength, footwork, and speed has improved each year.  We are expecting big things from Anders in his senior year, most of all LEADERSHIP.

"Since joining the program as a freshman, Anders has been a formidable presence on the mat. He has three years experience as a varsity wrestler, numerous tournament championships to his name, and the honor of being voted team captain as a junior. He's had a consistent presence in the practice room, the weight room, and off-season workouts. His dedication to getting stronger and improving his skills has been an invaluable asset, and I'm pleased that his peers are following his example. After qualifying for state his junior year, he finished in the top-12 of his weight class, and I fully expect him to make a huge impact on the mats his senior year. That's just the way he is -- he's not satisfied with just being good. He wants to be dominant, whether it's on the wrestling mat, the football field, or the track."
